The Greater Baybrook Alliance (GBA), one of our major partners in North County, just announced the Baybrook Beautification Program, an initiative that makes funding available to communities to improve their blocks, streets and neighborhoods. With support from the State of Maryland’s Baltimore Regional Neighborhood Initiative, $50,000 is being made available for this program. Communities located within the Brooklyn Park area of Anne Arundel County and Curtis Bay and Brooklyn areas of Baltimore City, can apply for capital improvement grants ranging in amounts from $1,000 up to $20,000 to. Interested applicants can access the application and guidelines through GBA’s website.

Painting facades of homes, Installation of landscaping and/or trees
Clean up of previously dilapidated open space, playground build, community garden
Pre-Development, including architectural designs and specifications
