FY 2022 LDC Community Grant Applications are now open.
ACDS is the administering agency for Anne Arundel County’s Local Development Council (LDC) grants. LDC grants are available on a competitive basis to nonprofit and community organizations working to benefit the communities and residents within a three mile radius of Live! Casino.
The LDC has identified the following three major areas of focus for awarding grant funds:
- Human Services for Success
- Beautifying and Revitalizing Communities; and
- Enhancing Educational Outcomes

ACDS administers two types of LDC Grants:
Community Grants.
These grants are available on a competitive basis to nonprofit organizations and community associations serving the community and residents within a three mile radius of the Live! Facility. Eligible applicants may apply for a maximum of $40,000.
The FY 2022 Community Grant Application is now open. FY 2022 Community Grant applications are due on November 30th, 2020.

This year, all Local Development Council applications will be completed online through ACDS’s Neighborly Portal. To register your account, please click HERE to be taken to the ACDS Neighborly Portal Login Page. If you are unable to access our online portal, please contact us at the email below.

Invitation Only Grants.
From time to time, the LDC will invite nonprofit organizations & community associations to apply for funding outside of the $40,000 Community Grant process in order to meet an identified need or LDC priority.
Invited applicants will receive a formal invitation, and will still be required to complete the FY2022 LDC Grant Application to be considered for funding. If your organization has been invited to apply, ACDS staff will contact you during Fall 2020.

Annual LDC Grants Training
ACDS will conduct a Grants Training Workshop on November 4th, 2020 at 3pm via Zoom, which will offer applicants the opportunity to hear more about the LDC application process and grant requirements. If you are interested in attending, please RSVP to Dave Sims at dsims@acdsinc.org. If you are unable to attend this session, you can reach out to ACDS staff with any questions or to request a recording of the training.
Monthly LDC Meetings
The Local Development Council typically meets on the 3rd Wednesday during the months of September – June at 6 p.m. at the Harmans Community Room at Arundel Mills. However, due to COVID-19, all meetings are being held virtually via Zoom until further notice. Please check the meeting calendar for exceptions.
In the event of inclement weather, LDC monthly meetings may be cancelled. LDC meeting cancellations will follow the Anne Arundel County Public Schools closing policy for afterschool and evening activities. Please refer to the AACPS website or call 410.222.5000 for information about closures.
