Where does all of my money go? Is your paycheck gone at the end of the week or month, but you cannot figure out where it went — this workshop is for you!
This workshop covers a comprehensive approach to identifying what income you have and how much you need in order to cover your monthly expenses. It will focus on identifying the difference between wants and needs, tracking your expenses, and preventing the creation of a budget that is not realistic and does not work. Identify your money personality and what triggers your spending and savings habits. Identify methods to track your spending and modify those habits that break your budget.
Participate in budgeting exercises which will give you tips and guidance on creating a budget and meeting your short and long term goals. Learn the importance of on-time payments, debt reduction, and living within your means.

Instructor: Steven Ames, Financial Educational Foundation of Anne Arundel County (FEF)
Steven Ames is the current Chair of the Financial Educational Foundation of Anne Arundel County (FEF), which provides pro bono financial education. He is the former principal of Ames Fee-Only Financial Planning, where he held the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. A graduate of the University of Maryland, he also holds a Masters Degree from American University and a Masters in Financial Planning from the College For Financial Planning. A financial advisor for over 25 years, he has extensive experience in many areas of financial planning.
