Learn how information is transmitted to the three credit bureaus, the importance of accurate information and what actions are necessary to dispute and correct inaccurate information. Listen to valuable tips about precautions and preventative actions against identity theft and fraud. Historical credit and information detailed on your credit report tells a story about you.

Instructor: Steven Ames, Financial Educational Foundation of Anne Arundel County (FEF)
Steven Ames is the current Chair of the Financial Educational Foundation of Anne Arundel County (FEF), which provides pro bono financial education. He is the former principal of Ames Fee-Only Financial Planning, where he held the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. A graduate of the University of Maryland, he also holds a Masters Degree from American University and a Masters in Financial Planning from the College For Financial Planning. A financial advisor for over 25 years, he has extensive experience in many areas of financial planning.
