Purpose of HOME-ARP ALLOCATION PLAN: Anne Arundel County was awarded a one-time allocation of $2,800,473 in HOME Investment Partnership Program – American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP) Funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The HOME-ARP Allocation Plan presents a detailed strategy for the use of HOME-ARP funds to implement eligible activities for households who are experiencing homelessness, at risk of homelessness, and other vulnerable populations. The HOME-ARP Allocation Plan amends the County’s Local Fiscal Year 2022/Federal Fiscal Year 2021 Annual Action Plan.
Public Comments on HOME-ARP Allocation: The Draft HOME-ARP Allocation Plan will be available for download via the Arundel Community Development Services, Inc. (ACDS) website at https://acdsinc.org/community-planning-development/action-plan for a period of 30 days beginning January 14, 2023. Residents without access to the internet can contact ACDS to request a printed copy. Oral and written comments received by 5:00 p.m. on February 13, 2023 will be considered and changes made if such changes are deemed appropriate prior to submitting the final plan to HUD. A summary of all comments, with reasons provided for any comments not incorporated, will be included in the HOME-ARP Allocation Plan submitted to HUD.
