Notice is hereby given that the Anne Arundel County draft Citizen Participation Plan is available for public review and comment. The Citizen Participation Plan is required by HUD and sets forth the County’s policies and procedures for involving the public in decision making with regards to the planning, implementation and assessment of housing and community development activities in Anne Arundel County, including the development of the County’s Consolidated Plan, Assessment of Fair Housing, Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report, Annual Action Plan and Section 108 applications. This draft Citizen Participation Plan will replace the Plan adopted by the Anne Arundel County Council on May 17, 2010. The public may provide input by commenting on the draft Plan.
The draft Citizen Participation Plan is available for download below. A copy may be obtained at the office of Arundel Community Development Services, Inc. (ACDS) at 2666 Riva Road, Suite 210, Annapolis, MD. Copies or summaries of the draft Plan will be made available in a form accessible to persons with disabilities or with Limited English Proficiency upon request. Comments can be provided by mailing the ACDS office at the above address, or by emailing info@acdsinc.org, or by calling 410-222-7600. Comments received before 4 p.m. on March 30, 2018 will be considered and changes made, if such changes are deemed appropriate. A summary of all comments, with reasons provided for any comments not incorporated, will be made available.
