AMENDMENTS TO ANNUAL ACTION PLAN FOR LOCAL FISCAL YEAR 2020 (FEDERAL FISCAL YEAR 2019)- CDBG-CV-III

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced a second allocation of CARES Act Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-CV-III) funds for Anne Arundel County totaling $2,116,309.  These funds are intended to respond to, prepare for and prevent COVID-19; at the same time, all projects and activities must meet a national objective and eligibility requirements for the CDBG program.

Notice is hereby given that Anne Arundel County is proposing to amend its Annual Action Plan for Local Fiscal Year 2020/Federal Fiscal Year 2019 as follows:

Allocate $2,116,309 in CDBG-CV-III funds to the Emergency Mortgage Assistance Program ($200,000), the Emergency Eviction Prevention Program ($1,043,047), Legal Services ($200,000), Remote Learning ($250,000), and Planning and Administration ($423,262).  Click HERE for more details on this amendment.

A copy of the proposed amendment will be made available in a form accessible to persons who cannot access the amendment online, persons with disabilities, and those with Limited English Proficiency upon request.

Comments on the proposed amendments to the Annual Action Plan for Local Fiscal Year 2020/Federal Fiscal Year 2019 will be received by Arundel Community Development Services, Inc. until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2020 by e-mail at ekarpewicz@acdsinc.org or by phone at 410-222-3957.  All comments will be considered and changes made if such changes are deemed appropriate prior to submitting the amended plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
