NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF THE ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY DRAFT CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE AND EVALUATION REPORT FOR FEDERALLY FUNDED HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS
Notice is hereby given that the Anne Arundel County Draft Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) for Local Fiscal Year 2021 is available for public review and comment. The CAPER is required by HUD to identify federal resources, including CDBG, HOME, ESG, HOPWA, and CoC funds, received by Anne Arundel County between July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021, which were used to implement projects and programs to achieve the goals and objectives in the Consolidated Plan: FY 2021 – FY 2025.
The report includes a summary of available resources, accomplishments, and an evaluation of actions undertaken to achieve the Strategic Plan objectives, including the County’s efforts to provide affordable housing, address the needs of the homeless population and those with special needs, and affirmatively further fair housing. This report also identifies how federal funds leveraged other resources and met program specific requirements for the CDBG, HOME, and ESG Programs.
The draft CAPER is accessible and available on the ACDS website HERE. Residents who are unable to access the draft CAPER electronically should contact ACDS at 410-222-3957 or info@acdsinc.org to make alternate arrangements to view a printed copy. A summary of the draft CAPER will be made available in a format accessible to Limited English Persons (LEP) and persons with disabilities when given seven days notice.
Oral and written comments can be submitted by calling 410-222-3957, emailing ekarpewicz@acdsinc.org or mailing to ACDS, 2666 Riva Road, Suite 210, Annapolis, MD 21401. Comments received by or before 5 p.m. September 20, 2021 will be considered and changes made, if such changes are deemed appropriate, prior to submitting the final plan to HUD. A summary of all comments, with reasons provided for any comments not incorporated, will be included in the CAPER submitted to HUD.
