ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND ANNUAL ACTION PLAN
FOR LOCAL FISCAL YEAR 2020
The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced a second allocation of CARES Act Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG-CV2) funds for Anne Arundel County, MD on June 9, 2020, totaling $1,313,638. These funds are intended to address the needs of people experiencing homelessness during the COVID-19 response and recovery. A substantial amendment to the Local Fiscal Year 2020 Annual Action Plan is necessary in order for the County to receive CARES Act funds.
Notice is hereby given that Anne Arundel County is proposing to amend its Annual Action Plan for Local Fiscal Year 2020/Federal Fiscal Year 2019 as follows: to allocate the $1,313,638 in new ESG-CV2 funds to the following activities: (i) Emergency Shelter ($310,000); (ii) Outreach ($175,485); (iii) Rapid Re-Housing ($538,294); (iv) Essential Services ($100,000); (v) Homeless Management Information System ($58,495); and (vi) Administration ($131,364). Funds will be awarded to subrecipients to implement and support new activities.
A copy of the proposed amendment will be made available in a form accessible to persons who cannot access the amendment online, persons with disabilities, and those with Limited English Proficiency upon request.
Comments on the proposed amendment to the Annual Action Plan for Local Fiscal Year 2020 will be received at the office of Arundel Community Development Services, Inc. until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 by email ebrush@acdsinc.org or by phone 410-222-3956. All comments will be considered and changes made if such changes are deemed appropriate prior to submitting the amended plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
