As we embark on the season of thanksgiving and holiday celebrations, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire ACDS staff, our volunteer Board of Directors, and our many community partners, for their passion and commitment to bringing housing and community development opportunities to thousands of low- and moderate-income individuals and families in Anne Arundel County. Our Fiscal Year 2022 accomplishments, which are highlighted in the ACDS Annual Report Fiscal Year 2022, would also not be possible without our funding partners, including County Executive Steuart Pittman, the Anne Arundel County Council, US Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development.
Our collective work, which was elevated and expanded during the height of the pandemic, continues to fill critical gaps today as we work to create and preserve more affordable rental units, grow homeownership opportunities, enhance our continuum of care to prevent and end homelessness, and support the capacity of community-based partners to provide safety net and quality of life programming for underserved communities. I am looking forward to the year ahead and building on our efforts.
