Anne Arundel County receives a portion of the total revenues generated by video lottery terminals at Maryland Live! Casino. These monies are distributed by Anne Arundel County in the form of local impact grants for County services and programs targeting communities in immediate proximity to the casino. Historically, this has translated to approximately $18 million in Video Lottery Terminal (VLT) expenditures each year. Permitted uses include infrastructure improvements, facilities, public safety, sanitation, economic and community development, including housing, and other public services and improvements.
